Out of Country Insurance Requirements (Niagara Thunderhawks Lacrosse)

PrintOut of Country Insurance Requirements
**Please note, this page ONLY applies to players that reside OUTSIDE of Ontario, Canada**

As per OLA requirements, all out of province/country players require proof of Competitive Athlete
Insurance to cover them for the season.

The OLA has provided a link to
coverage options with an OLA insurance provider.  Players will NOT be able to participate in any tournaments or Provincials without proof of coverage.
If your family has their own out of country medical insurance, you may submit the policy directly to Franca at Youngs Insurance (contact above) for review in order to ensure the policy includes a rider to cover Competitive Athletic Events. When confirmation is received from Youngs that your policy meets the criteria, please forward proof of approval to our Registrar.

If you have any questions regarding insurance requirements please email Nancy Washburn, our Cross Border Representative. Nancy can assist you with navigating your personal insurance carrier. Since insurance carriers can provide information to their members differently, understanding coverage can be confusing so please do not hesitate to reach out to her.

Competitive Athlete Insurance is required for your player(s) to participate in our program as it will financially protect your child(ren) in the event there is a medical emergency as a result of gameplay.
