What a great weekend of Lacrosse! Twenty-two teams across four divisions came out to play in our tournament this year. A tournament named in honour of Mike Jones, who passed away earlier this year. Mike was a player, coach and builder in our association for many years. He is fondly remembered as a dedicated volunteer and passionate lacrosse supporter. Mike was so proud to be awarded “The Spirit of Lacrosse” print for 40 years of service to the Ontario Lacrosse Association. And we were so proud to host our Invitational Tournament in his name. We are also very thankful to all of the players, coaches, referees, volunteers and of course the parents, who participated. You all made it a wonderful event!
